THE CIRCLE is an international Martial Arts tournament where sixteen countries will battle to earn the title of ‘the best team in the world’. From its first edition, the show will have an incomparable television broadcast that will reach millions of people  around the world.

When the art of combat had not been yet channeled into a regulated sport, when there were no stadiums, rings or stands, a circle drawn on the ground marked the limits of the arena. Thus, the circle was a figure associated with fighting. Sometimes even the public themselves defined the perimeter, forming a human circle around the fighters.

Going back to those origins, THE CIRCLE has designed a ring inspired by that initial shape, merging tradition and XXI century developments to achieve a visually appealing and exceptional piece of engineering.

The circle symbolizes unity. For that reason, our championship goes beyond the individual contest. Winning is not enough anymore. Fighters must share their success. THE CIRCLE is a team-based competition where communion and group ties will be decisive to achieve the triumph as a country.

Each national team will be composed by three men and one woman. When two countries fight, the one with a higher score moves through to the next phase. Male fighters score one point each, whereas female fighters score two points.

THE CIRCLE gives women the leading role they deserve, concentrating a great deal of excitement on the outcome of their fight. In this tournament, women will be one of the keys for their team’s success.
