On June 23rd, Australia’s leading Mixed Martial Arts promotion brings us Hex Fight Series 9, the most exciting Mixed Martial Arts show on Aussie soil this year!

Strap yourself in for a night of unrivalled live entertainment, as Hex Fight Series 9 showcases a stacked fight card featuring rising stars, MMA veterans, submission specialists, and heavy hitters.

The lead up to the main event of the evening will a pivotal Featherweight match up when Jordan Cameron takes on Kyle Aguon.

Jordan Cameron went undefeated as he steamed his way to the top of the Featherweight division, receiving his shot at Championship Gold in March at Hex Fight Series 8. The Adrenaline MMA & Fitness prospect put on a stellar performance against Featherweight Champion Joshua Culibao, losing a razor close split decision. Now, the Featherweight star is returning to the Hex cage with a vengeance.

Kyle Aguon is the former PXC World Champion and a dangerous fight veteran with 10 professional wins to his name. This durable competitor has never been stopped in his 9 year career. The Guamanian enters the cage coming off a win in the world renowned Japanese promotion, Pancrase. With a victory over Cameron, Aguon could make it two consecutive wins on two of the world’s premier shows, in just a few months.

Jordan Cameron looks to bounce right back into title contention, and Kyle Aguon attempts to ruin his plans as he makes his Hex Fight Series debut.

The main event will see a new light heavyweight champion crowned.

The Brute Jimmy Crute will finally have his chance at destiny, after his unstoppable run towards the biggest belt in Australiasian MMA – the HEX Light Heavyweight title! Hex 9 also grants the destiny of another, Ben Kelleher finally gets his long awaited chance at retribution against Jim Crute and in a fairytale story line has been granted the opportunity to be crowned the HEX champion. Shaw Dean, who was originally matched against Jim Crute, unexplainably withdrew from the fight, meaning fate has delivered what Kelleher has been asking for since February 2016, a rematch with Jim Crute. Kelleher stands when all others run!

Hex 5 is where Crute’s dominance of the light-heavyweight division began. Kelleher was returning after a year layoff due to a broken leg and has been stalking Crute ever since, pressuring Hex match makers for this rematch. His dream for the opportunity to avenging his loss has now been realised. June 23rd will be the day of reckoning, to claim his rightful place as the light-heavyweigh Hex Fight Series champion.

The New Zealand born heavy hitter is undefeated in his boxing career in which he holds multiple international titles. Kelleher has faced a number of UFC veterans during his MMA career, recently dominating with a 2nd round RNC submission victory.

The undefeated powerhouse that is The Brute Jimmy Crute has been tearing his way through the Light-Heavyweight division. Finishing 3 of his 4 opponents inside the first round, Crute ,now stand as arguably the best MMA talent in Australia. Pedigree from the stable of World Champion Sam Greco, the biggest 205’er Australia’s ever seen, puts the world on notice when he fights for the gold June 23.
