It’s time for fight fans to buckle up, as Australia’s premier mixed martial arts promotion joins forces with a Chinese MMA powerhouse, to deliver a highly anticipated event that is not to be missed.

Live from the Melbourne Pavilion on Friday October 26th. Hex Fight Series teams up with Kunlun Fight, to deliver Hex Fight Series 17. The historical event is gearing up to thrill the crowd with an onslaught of world class MMA action inside the cage.

The main event of the evening will see reigning Hex Fight Series Flyweight King, Charlie “El Guerrero” Alaniz, defend his strap against his most dangerous challenger to date, Zhang Meixuan. The last time Hex fans saw their Flyweight Champion, he defended his title in thrilling fashion scoring himself a 3rd round submission victory at Hex 11. The highly talented Californian possesses an incredible wrestling pedigree, and mixes it with exceptional striking skills. Zhang Meixuan presents a dangerous challenge to Alaniz’s belt, as the Chinese MMA veteran has achieved 18 wins as a professional, with 16 coming via stoppage. The title bout has all the makings to be a true classic.

In the co-main event, former Hex Fight Series Welterweight Champion, Kitt “The Killer” Campbell will continue on his path back to the title when he takes on the most experienced opponent that he’s faced thus far, China’s Zhang “The Warrior” Lipeng. Campbell has a habit of thrilling the crowd with an exciting combination of world class Judo and devastatingly powerful striking skills, “The Killer” will need to bring all those skills when he steps into the cage on October 26th. As a UFC veteran who has achieved an impressive 27 victories as a professional, including an outstanding 20 stoppages, Lipeng brings a phenomenal resumé into his Hex debut. Fight fans will be eagerly anticipating this thrilling Welterweight clash.

The thoroughly stacked undercard will showcase a vast array of talent, with an exciting combination of heavy hitters, submission specialists, MMA veterans and talented rising stars.
