Epicentre.tv is proud to announce a the premiere of Real Hero Muay Thai Championship 2013, taking place at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre on Saturday October 26th, 2013. 10 of Australia’s best Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) fighters will take on 10 of Thailand’s best in the world’s most exciting combat sport.
Muay Thai Pty Ltd is proud to bring the Real Hero event to the Sydney Olympic Park for the first time. The Real Hero Muay Thai Championship match makers have carefully selected Australia’s top male and female fighters to take on 10 of Thailand’s most exciting fighters. Thai boxing and K1 superstar Buakow Banchamek will be captaining the Thai team. An event of this magnitude will be a first for Sydney combat sports fans and will sit alongside the UFC, Thai Fight, Max Muay Thai and K1 as one of the world’s most recognizable stand up combat sports brands.
Doors open at 6pm, with the show will start at 7pm on Saturday October 26th, with tickets starting at only $50 and are available through Ticket Direct. Muay Thai world champion, Rhyse Saliba, from Penrith is eager to put on a strong performance, “I’m really looking to make a name for myself through this show. It’s a big opportunity for me not only here in Australia, but on the world stage.”
Thai super star Buakow Banchamek, from Surin Thailand says beating the Australian team shouldn’t be a problem, “I’m so proud to be captaining the Thai team. Usually, fighting is just another day in the office, but for this show, our nation’s pride rests on our shoulders. Muay Thai is our national sport and we’ve been fighting since we were kids. Winning this event shouldn’t be a problem for the Thai’s.”
